What an incredible finish to an amazingly historic election!

We greatly appreciate all the level-headed, well thought out discussions which have occurred on SearchWarp over this election season.

By far, the hottest issue we've seen on SearchWarp during this election was over the issue of abortion. Nearly every person who took a stand on a candidate and elaborated their reasoning also stated that they wanted to find a way to end/reduce abortion.

Today I would like to challenge you personally to put feet to your words and ask you to do something about it!

I challenge you, before this week is over, to do something to help reduce abortion in America or abroad.

Here are some suggestions:
And for sure, if you have children at home, make sure they are secure in your love for them.  Talk to them about it.  Make sure that they are well equipped for the life ahead of them.

We promise to do the same.

It might interest you to know that one of SearchWarp's finest authors is the founder of GeoVi's Home for New Life ( http://www.geovishome.org ), which has a mission to provide a home for pregnant teens as an alternative to abortion. Jean & I whole-heartedly endorse this organization and we would be excited for you to join us in helping to support their cause in any way you can.

So are you up to our post-election day challenge? We hope you are!

Sincerely,
Bruce Horst

Absolutely! I almost wrote an article discussing this very issue, that if we want as a people to end abortion, then we must also be willing to help support that life by means of increased welfare that is absolutely essential. It is a scary world to be poor in nowadays, and the cost of raising a child is more than ever before. No one ever has or ever will get rich through welfare which only sustains a living a notch above the poverty line. So many single mothers have resorted to stripping in nightclubs because minimum wage is simply not enough. We also need to promote father accountability and marriage.

I remember hearing someone who was very much against welfare screaming " I'm not going to support all these welfare mothers who only have more babies to collect more welfare!" But this is a ridiculous accusation. Even despite their welfare, we who pay the taxes to support them have it by far and away better.

So, yes, I wholeheartedly agree with this well thought out and sincerely written article.

We need to help support the women who choose to have their babies. They need it! I honestly don't know how they manage it. Imagine those women who have no social support, no families, no education, etc..

It's the hardest job on earth! And they are incredibly vulnerable people.

Thanks, Bruce, for giving us all something to think about. We all need to 'do' something about a grave issue that has plagued our country for some time. Thanks for putting some good action ideas into words.
